This website is operated by Yon Crochet (“Yon Crochet”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell products and services to you.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced here and/or available by hyperlink.

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, merchants, vendors, and contributors of content.

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting changes on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Your content (excluding payment information) may be transferred unencrypted over various networks and may be adapted to technical requirements. Payment information is handled through Shopify’s checkout and is encrypted during transmission.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission.

We are not responsible if information on this site is not accurate, complete, or current. Content is provided for general information only. Any reliance on site content is at your own risk.

Prices are subject to change without notice. We may modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) without notice. We are not liable for any such changes to the extent permitted by law.

SECTION 5 — PRODUCTS OR SERVICES

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online and may have limited quantities.

We try to display product colours and images accurately, but we can’t guarantee your monitor/device displays colour perfectly.

We reserve the right to limit sales by person, region, or jurisdiction, and to limit quantities. Product descriptions and pricing may change without notice.

Digital content / lessons (if applicable): If your purchase includes access to digital lessons or content, access may require a customer account and/or verification of the email used at checkout. Digital access may be limited to the purchaser and subject to our policies.

Returns/exchanges are governed by our Return Policy.

SECTION 6 — ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We may refuse, limit, or cancel orders at our discretion, including where orders appear to be placed by dealers/resellers.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yon Crochet and its affiliates, employees, contractors, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, revenue, savings, or data, arising from your use of the Service or products.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yon Crochet from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or third-party rights.

These Terms and any policies posted on this site constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede prior agreements or communications.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws rules.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting changes on this page. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

SECTION 20 — TEXT / MOBILE MESSAGE TERMS (Canada)

If you opt in to receive marketing or transactional text messages from Yon Crochet (the “Program”), you agree to these Mobile Message Terms.

1) Consent (CASL)

By opting in, you consent to receive commercial electronic messages (including SMS/MMS) from us, which may include promotions, product updates, cart reminders, order-related notifications, and customer support messages.

In Canada, marketing texts/emails generally require consent and must include identification information and an unsubscribe mechanism under CASL (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation).

Consent is not a condition of purchase (unless your flow clearly states otherwise and is permitted by law).

2) Opt-out / Unsubscribe

You can opt out at any time by replying: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, or QUIT to any message. You may receive one final confirmation message.

We will honour unsubscribe requests in accordance with applicable law (including CASL unsubscribe requirements).

3) Message frequency + costs

Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.

5) Carriers + delivery

Delivery is subject to your carrier’s network availability. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6) Do Not Call / Telemarketing calls (if you place calls)

If we ever conduct telemarketing calls, Canada has CRTC Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules and the National Do Not Call List (DNCL) framework. Telemarketers and clients must follow DNCL rules (including maintaining internal do-not-call requests).
(Note: DNCL is primarily about calls/faxes; CASL is the key framework for marketing texts/emails.)

7) Privacy

Personal information used for the Program is handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws (including PIPEDA, where applicable).
