Yon Yarn: one yarn, made for amigurumi
Most beginners quit because of their yarn, not their hands. Fuzzy yarn hides your stitches so you cannot count them. Loosely spun yarn splits under the hook, so every stitch becomes a fight. Yon Yarn was chosen to solve both problems.

Why this blend
The cotton gives clean stitch definition, so you can see the V of each stitch and count a round without losing your place. The nylon adds strength and keeps the ply from separating, which is what stops the hook snagging and splitting the yarn mid stitch. The result is a smooth, firm fabric that holds a stuffed shape without letting the stuffing show through.
Choosing a hook
