the story

Button the Mushroom's path

Button grew up at the foot of an old oak, in a ring of toadstools where all the forest paths meet. Everyone passes through Button's clearing, and Button knows them all - so Button became the one who stitches the group together, mending what is torn and introducing strangers until they are friends. Button is happiest holding things, and people, together. Button's story is about learning that the quiet work of keeping everyone connected is a kind of magic all its own.
