How to stitch your keychain onto an amigurumi

The cutest place for a keychain is on a finished amigurumi. All you need is a leftover strand of yarn and one minute.

1

Cut a strand of yarn

Snip about 15 cm of leftover yarn from your kit, any colour you love. Scraps are perfect for this.

2

Thread through both

With a yarn needle, pass the strand through a sturdy stitch at the top of your amigurumi, then through the keychain's ring.

3

Knot and hide the tails

Tie a tight double knot, then thread the tails back inside the amigurumi so they disappear. Your character is ready to travel.

Out of scraps? One yarn ball from the shop dresses up many keychains. For gifts to little ones, double the strand for extra strength.
