The element crew: four intermediate characters
Rocky the Earth, Echo the Bat, Rin the Raindrop and Button the Mushroom. Levels 6 to 9 on the Yon skill path, and the point where the fabric itself starts doing the work.
One new technique each
- Level 6, Rocky the Earth. Front loops only and back loops only, to create ridges and real dimension, plus half double crochet and a hand embroidered mouth.
- Level 7, Echo the Bat. Clean colour changes mid round, split single crochet, and working single crochet across from each other.
- Level 8, Rin the Raindrop. Bubble stitch for raised droplets, and double crochet, the first stitch taller than a single crochet.
- Level 9, Button the Mushroom. Sewing parts together and neat, secure assembly, the step most people rush.
Still built on the same foundation
Every one of these teaches the same 14 core skills as the beginner characters. Nothing is assumed away. What changes is what gets layered on top.
