Meet Chuck the Duck

the story

Chuck the Duck is a gentle, creative soul with a heart full of ideas, and for one night a year he is Count Chuck. The top hat and cape are for looking the part while he hands round snacks. The goblet holds warm cranberry cocoa, because Chuck does not do anything colder than that. And the coffin is not spooky at all. It is his bed, lined with the best cushions in the house, and he will let you try it for a nap between dances. His journey is finding out that a good host is a kind of brave.

Personality

Chuck is cheerful, caring and naturally welcoming, and the Vampire Ball is his kitchen with better lighting. He adjusts the cape in the mirror, refills everyone's goblet, and sneaks off to the coffin for ten minutes when the party gets loud.

Inner Struggle

Chuck worries a cosy vampire is not a proper one. He would rather stay by the snack table than lead a dance, and needs reminding that the room only feels like a party because he is in it.

Dream

To throw a night where everyone feels looked after, and to learn that warmth is a perfectly good costume.
