What you will learn

Button is level 9, the last lesson on the Yon skill path, and the one that deals with the step most people rush: putting the pieces together. Like every Yon lesson he teaches all 14 core amigurumi skills, then focuses on:

  • Sewing parts together
  • Neat, secure assembly

A plushie is usually let down at the joins rather than in the rounds. Limbs sit crooked, a head leans, stitches show where two pieces meet, or an arm works loose after a month of being carried around. This lesson spends its time on placement, tension, and finishing the join so it holds and disappears.

It is deliberately the last lesson, because assembly is the skill that makes every earlier character look better in hindsight.
