the story
Rin is a single raindrop who decided not to fall. Tucked inside a cozy cloud-cloak, Rin drifts toward the dry places and the tired travellers, and quietly keeps everybody standing. When the weather turns or the road runs too long, Rin lifts off that big cloud-hat, shakes it out once, and it opens into a tent with room for the whole group underneath. Rin tends small hurts before they become big ones, cools hot tempers, waters the ground back to green, and asks the same question at least four times a day: have you had any water? Rin's story is about the quiet, unglamorous work that keeps a party alive, and about learning that one small drop, given at exactly the right moment, is more than enough.
Personality
Gentle, dreamy, and completely unhurried, with a healer's attention underneath. Rin never rushes and never panics, notices who is limping long before they mention it, and hands over water without being asked. Rin trusts that small, patient care adds up, one drop at a time.
Inner Struggle
A healer's work leaves no evidence. The storm everyone stayed dry through, the hurt that never got worse, the thirst that never became a problem: none of it looks like anything happened at all. Rin quietly wonders whether staying small and steady counts as much as being brave, and almost never remembers to drink first.
Dream
To get every single one of them home standing, and to leave a little green behind at every place the group stops to rest.
How They Help
Rin is the group's healer and its shelter. Camp goes up the moment the hat comes off, small hurts get tended before anyone thinks to complain, water goes round whether it was asked for or not, and green grows back over everything the group has had to fix.
