Delete your Yon Crochet account

You can delete your Yon Crochet account and the data that goes with it at any time. There are two ways.

In the Yon Crochet app

1. Open the app and tap Me.
2. Tap Delete my account.
3. We email you a 6-digit code. Type it in and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email support@yoncrochet.com from the email address you use with Yon Crochet, with the subject Delete my account. We delete the account within 30 days and email you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in (email, Sign in with Apple, Google)
• Your profile, lesson progress, points, coins, badges and streaks
• Your projects, patterns, notes, swatches and the photos you saved in them
• Your Community posts, comments, likes and photos, and your notifications
• The devices and notification tokens linked to your account

What we keep

• Records of your purchases (lessons, Yon Plus and workshop seats), because they are records of orders. If you sign in again with the same email, your lessons are there again.
• Orders and receipts from our shop, as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Yon Plus subscription bought in the app. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, or in your yoncrochet.com account if you joined on our website.
