the story
Pug the Dog is a bold little adventurer with a fearless heart and endless energy. On Ghost Walk he is the ghost, in a sheet he cut the eye holes into himself, a little crooked, and he is the one who volunteers to go first down the dark street. He carries the lantern so nobody gets lost, lights the candle on the porch for the ones still to come, carved the pumpkin with a grin exactly like his own, and collects the candy for everyone. He eats some of it. His journey is learning that leading the walk means waiting at the corner for the slow ones.
Personality
Pug is bold, playful and impossible to ignore, and Ghost Walk is his favourite night of the year. He runs ahead, doubles back, holds the lantern too high, and shouts boo at doors before they open. Under the sheet he is watching to make sure everyone is still together.
Inner Struggle
Pug charges down the dark street before anyone has their shoes on and gets frustrated when the walk moves at the speed of the smallest ghost. He has to learn that the lantern is for the people behind him.
Dream
To be the ghost everyone follows because they feel safe with him, not just because he ran off first.
How They Help
Pug is the front of the line. He goes first into the dark, keeps the lantern lit, shares the candy out at the end, and makes a scary street feel like a game.
